Arrival to Pisgah Domes

Welcome to Pisgah Domes — your private wellness retreat in the mountains.

Cell service can be limited in the forest. We strongly recommend taking a screenshot of this page before you begin your drive so you have directions and arrival details when you need them.

Check-In

Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM. (unless an Early Check-In has been purchased and is available in the guest portal)
We offer hassle-free self check-in, so you’re welcome to arrive whenever it fits your schedule after that time.

Directions (Recommended Route)

For the smoothest and most reliable arrival, please use the route below:

1. From Highway 64, turn onto Parkway Road (NC-215)
2. Drive approximately 7.9 miles
3. Turn right onto Clinic Road
4. Make an immediate left onto Shoal Creek Road
5. Continue about 4 miles
6. Pisgah Domes will be on the left — look for the Pisgah Domes sign at the gravel driveway entrance

Important GPS Note

Some GPS systems may try to route you through the forest via Highway 276 to Davidson River Road. Portions of this route are closed or under construction and can require several miles of gravel driving.

For the easiest and most reliable arrival, please follow the Highway 64 → Parkway Road (NC-215) directions above, even if your GPS suggests otherwise.

Driveway & Parking

The Pisgah Domes driveway is gravel and can be steep in places.

• 4×4 is recommended, especially after rain or during winter conditions
• Guest parking is located at the top of the hill, to the left of the container

If you’re not comfortable driving up to the dome, we provide a 4×4 Polaris UTV for guest use. A waiver must be signed before operating the Polaris.

Access & Keys

For your privacy and security, all entry details (door codes, lockbox info, and any reservation-specific instructions) are provided in your private reservation portal.

Use the “Open My Reservation Portal” button to view your access information.

*Registered guests only are allowed on our private property. We have cameras in place to protect parked vehicles but we always recommend keeping vehicles locked.
